    There gonna have a meeting in paris,tn tomorrow for those that are interested, here's the info

    TWRA Note: The task force created to help combat the Asian Carp invasion into Tennessee waters will meet tomorrow. The public is invited to attend the early portion of the meeting. More information about the task force and TWRA's Asian carp efforts will be posted on this FB page and on our website in the months ahead.

    What are they proposing? Short of poisoning the water and kill everything I don't think you can stop them.

    Default Commercial Carp fishing as a retirement gig

    I read that one proposal would open them up to commercial fishing as (believe it or not) the meat supposedly tastes good if prepared correctly, and there is a market out there and, even some carp processing plants in neighboring states. They way I've seen them schooling in creeks, It looks like you would just need a big boat and a big net. They school tightly in huge numbers, near or at the surface and are not skittish of boats unless, of course, the motor is running with some rpms.
