HUGE Thank You to East Tennessee Crappie Club they will to help facilitate and work with us for the 4th Annual Crappie for Canines Tournament on Lake Chickamauga, September 18, 2016. You do not have to be a member of the club or any club to fish, The Tournament is OPEN TO EVERYONE, ALL ARE WELCOME.
Crappie for Canines is a yearly “fun”raising fishing event. This year we will be raising funds and awareness for Georgie Canines for Independence Service and Therapy dog program. Georgia Canines for Independence provides trained service dogs free of charge to increase the independence and mobility for people with various medical conditions. All proceeds and donations received for this event will go towards their ongoing training, raising, vet care and everyday needs of the dogs.
HUGE THANK YOU to Island Cove Marina, they have donated the Island pavilion for the weigh in and cookout. This is a truly a special place to have such an Great event. Thanks again to the great folks at Island Cove Marina.
The entry fee is $35/boat. Lamar’s Catch (big fish) is optional and is a donation of at least $5/person to Crappie For Canines.

Registration for the tournament will be held in the upper parking lot at Wolftever boat ramp HWY 58 between 530am and 615am September 18^th. The tournament meeting will be held at 615am. Tournament hours will be between 7am and 2pm. The weigh in will be between 2pm and 3pm. 7 Live Crappies for weigh in, no lines in water before 7am. A full list of ETCC tournament rules will be provided. A full list of rules for Crappie For Canines will be provide also. A waiver must be signed for all anglers fishing the tournament.
Only the weigh-in and cook out will occur at the Island Pavilion at Island Cove Marina. Anglers will be free to launch at any ramp they choose on Lake Chickamauga. However, anglers must come by boat by water to the weigh in site and tie up to the designated docks to weigh in their catch. Beaching of the boats at the island pavilion weigh in site will NOT be allowed. Boats must be tied to the two designated floating docks. A detailed map and explanation will be provided at the registration and morning tournament meeting.
