Called up a buddy down in Florida that I hadn't spoken to in a while just to see how he was doing. I was almost immediately asked about why he hasn't seen a fishing report posted from me lately. Well I thought... I guess I can do that. Never really thought anyone actually looked for a report from me before. So anyhow since I'm a working man, I ran out on the water yesterday evening (after work of course) to see what I could pull together for a report.

I fished out on Tellico from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm and boy was it hot. Water temp is pushing 78 degrees now and the chiggers and destroyers are out in full force now. Not to mention all of the swimmers and sun bathers laying out on most of the docks while your trying to put your boat in. Oh the joys of summer.

I figured I would pull cranks baits and take whatever I could get. I pulled a little bit of all the brands, Rapala Shad Raps, Bandits, and Arkies which all caught a fish or two when it was all said and done. 1.5 mph to 1.8 mph over the tops of submerged timber, creek channels, points, and humps in 15 to 45 ft of water. 13 crappie, 1 bass, 1 white bass, and one walleye came from these areas over the three hour period. Got back home before complete dark and put the fish on ice which is about to be cleaned.

So for Pat down in Florida.. This is what's currently going on here on Tellico Lake here in Tennessee.
    Thanks for the report request.

Good or bad, ALL reports are deeply appreciated. It may help one or two
of us geezers make up our minds on where to go! Thanx for taking the time
to get out on the water and then giving us a report as to the conditions.
    Dave
