Wow lake still way down ,grew up on this lake fish only once or twive a year now ,have a bad Ky lake crappie habbit .3 keepers lost one good one ,,but out of hundreds of boats out did not see much catchin going on .fished deep an fished very shallow twra stake beds ,minniows jigs ..need some water there

Fished JPP last Saturday too, caught fish in 12 - 18 fow trolling crankbaits, jigs, minnows, and shiners. Ended up with 5 nice crappie, 1 green carp (bass), 2 white bass, and 2 channel catfish with one of those at 9lbs. We had about 4 or 5 short crappie that we released. The big cat just about swallowed an arkie crappie crank bait. It was fun for my nephew catching that on a crappie pole!

The lake should come up soon, it is shallow for this time of the year. I'll likely be going again Saturday morning.
