Season Opener
First day of being able to fish the NWR's so I went to the Duck River pump station area (pool 1). The wife and I fished hard around the cypress tress w/20mph winds using minnows under the float. Water temp was 64 early and rose to 66 by noon. We only managed to catch 3 and lost a monster. Last time I went, 2 yrs ago, the son and I did real well. Not this time though. Guess I'll check out the Bumpus mills area (Barkley) tomorrow.
