    Default Douglas Report - 3/6/16

Sorry for the delay in posting...

Went out to Muddy Creek just after daylight last Sunday. Since I just bought a house and have started the lovely process of moving, I'm having to squeeze in fishing whenever I can so I decided to play hookie from church and get on the lake for a half day. Right off the bat found fish and had 10 keepers in the boat and several throwbacks by 10. At around 10:30, suddenly everything shutdown and I had to go looking again and changing things up. Ended up finding them again and had a limit and was culling by 11:30. After 10:30, the action definitely slowed down considerably and was spotty at best, and by the time I left at about 1:30, it had gotten quite sluggish. All fish were in 13-15 FOW, and they wouldn't take anything unless it was blue or green. Sour grape/chart ended up being the favorite of the day.

Usually I see guys bank fishing around the first major arm on the South side of Muddy Creek, but I don't know how to access it. They're usually on the southeast bank of the creek arm all the way out to the point of the main creek. On the map, looks like Leisure Ln and Ailey Church Ln are in the general vicinity of where they are. That should get you in the general area at least.

Glad you were able to go fishing. Hope the house move goes smoothly.
