Default Chickamauga Lake 1/28/2016 crappie report

Dr Phillip and I hit the water twice today. This morning for the minor movement. Fished about 2 hrs total. We caught 5 small largemouth bass (17"), 8 keeper crappie and a few shorts. Went home and then launched again this afternoon and fished for 2.5 hours during the major movement. We didn't catch as many in the afternoon, but did catch a really nice crappie. 15.25", 2 lb 4 ozs. All fish this afternoon were released.

We did autopsies on the crappie and one bass this morning. We think that suicide killed them. I took the bass for my wife, Wanda, who loves to eat largemouth bass. Dr Phil took the crappie. Grin.

Fish caught on panfish assassins and Bobby Garland plastics. Bluegrass and Full Moon best colors.

Nice fish and congrats on the big crappie. A "Chick-a-monster" ! We caught a few late in the afternoon also during the "major" time.

I had to do a double take on the large mouth pics. Wasn't sure what the black marks over you shoulders were. Then I figure it out.
    Nice catch.
