Default Not a lot about reelfoot

Not really hearing a lot of news good or bad. Me and the family were going to come up for the fourth and I was planning on maybe running some yo-yo's for some catfish for a couple of days and do some bream or whatever bites fishing. Anything good going on right now as far as fishing

You know that seems to be the story at most of the other lakes I fish as well. I fish sardis in miss a lot and the numbers are down there as well. I think its more the unusually colder and wetter winter and spring than lack of fish but I could be wrong.

I figure I'll mostly be running yo-yo's seen a lot of good pictures of some nice catches of catfish. Was hoping there would be some decent bream fishing going on. Btw I've been watching the radar. Looks like there getting a good bit of rain today. How is the lake level. Is it still a little high, I know when we were up last it was touching the bottom of the docks at Cypress Point

I was talking to John Fagin at Grays Camp last Sat. . He had been catching a bunch of nice gills.

The lake level before the storms was about 4 inches low. Catfish have jumping in the boat like normal. Bream have been on the tough side this year. Really hard to find beds and quality fish that you expect to catch there. Best bet is to scan a area with grass on the shore and have at it. You can hang a yo yo off any tree and catch a catfish
