Reelfoot Lake next week

I have only caught 6 crappie altogether on my recent trips to Reelfoot and have a friend wanting to fish there next week. Has anyone been having any success recently? I normally spider rig but he wants to fish trees.

You can catch some fish over there. It's a little slow but not dead

There is a lot more fish in that lake then I think people know about. You just gotta know how to catch them. Also they said last year's spawn was one for the record books and from the looks of what I've been catching, they were right.

yep two years and should be better then before..... wish it was only a 10 to 15 mins from the house for me I'd be known as well as some of the old stumps on the lake lol....
And will endorse lake again but not at this time.... good fishing not catching LOL
