    We fished pinoak a few times last fall and caught some decent messes of fish,but most on the small side.Still had a blast and only had to deal with a couple boats.

    Pinoak is not a TWRA lake and requires a state park permit to fish as it is owned by the park system. Browns Creek and Maple which are both located within the boundaries of the park are however TWRA lakes.

    Yep ,your right,think it was a couple dollars a day to fish.you have to get the permit at the motel

    Hope to get to fish Brown's creek and Maple lake soon wife is having back surgery today so it will be a couple weeks before I can leave her
