    Default Chickamauga Lake 3-7...3-8-15


    A 3-hour fishing trip Saturday for Deb and myself. We went to a creek in search of warmer water but it was like chocolate milk. We found fish close by though and fished out in the bay near the bridge. Our numbers came on jigs on floats fishing near the bank but our larger crappie were on jigs and minnows in about 20 feet of water. Deb caught the largest crappie at a little over 13 inches.

    We went back Sunday and the pattern seemed to change. Those rascals moved on us and I didn't do a very good job finding them. We did mix in a few white crappie this trip and Deb caught quite a few more than I did today. I'm just glad we got out and enjoyed the much warmer weather. I hope it's here to stay. A couple of pics of some crappie from Saturday and Deb's first crappie this morning.
