Cold day on Tellico...1-24-15
Waited for the snow to stop falling this morning and then hit the lake. It was tough for a while but once I found them, it didn't take long to limit. Had to resort to the basics though, tight lining 24' deep in 26 fow with minnows. I just ain't as good as Fish or Hunt so I can't catch them with a float and fly. But I will take them how I get them.

That's a good looking mess of fish. I'm amazed how crappie are being caught from 3 FOW to 26 FOW. You have me beat for sure because I can NOT catch crappie tight lining.

Nice catch. Were you using minnows? I was marking fish right off the bottom the other day but only had plastic grubs to use.

Caught every one of the on minnows and a gold hook. I am going to have to follow Fishorhunt around a day or two and find out how he does it. lol He is catching his a lot shallower.
