East Tennessee Outboard mechanic
I was having a familiar problem with my motor after she had sat through hunting season. Going on plane she'd bog down and then "grab ahold" and go. I figured it was the carbs and started looking for a mechanic closer to my house. On a friends referral, I ended up at Courtney's Marine in Lenior City. I dropped off my boat on Thursday morning at 8a. Jimmy Courtney called me about 3p and said she was ready. He cleaned the carbs, installed new plugs, and ran a test. When I took her to the lake yesterday, Saturday, she ran like the day I got her from the dealership in 1998. Jimmy was reasonable, professional, and quick turnaround. If you're looking for someone in this area, I'd highly recommend him.
