Some tuf guys on a tuf day.
East TN Crappie Club
January 10th Douglas Lake Tournament
We had a great day Saturday on Douglas. It was VERY cold out as we started the day at 8 degrees. Several teams had a rough start to the morning as boat problems haunted them. Anything from frozen steering wheels, frozen shifter cables, to battery's killed by the cold. All teams did battle through the boat issues and there were a lot of fish caught. All but one team brought 7 fish to the scales. The big fish did seem to allude everyone as all fish were close to the same size. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone for enduring the cold with us this month. Look forward to our Tellico Lake Tournament on Feb. 7th.
Anyone who want to see the results can look at them in our thread East TN Crappie Club under the Tennessee forum.

Good job on a tough day, ALL of you who stuck it out. Had I done that you could probably visit me in the hospital later in the week, low 30's and no wind is about all I can do anymore.

Wish we could have been there, work interfered with us coming. We did get to go Sunday and the trailer was frozen to the bottom of the boat and floated with the boat when we backed in. Very weird feeling. Will see you guys at tellico. Good catch sailfish, congrats on having a good day.
wow, bet that was a weird feeling to see the trailer floating.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
