Thumbs up Buddy and I both took personal best today

Talked a friend I work with out of chasing trout this morning and was explaining how the crappie still bite even though it's hot. Took him out on the lake to work some ledges. Was wanting to see what cranks and suspending jerk baits would get along the edges of the ledge.

He was still grinning when he left the ramp. Think he may be hooked...

Mine didn't turn out to be slabs but had a ball with both.

Crappie, walleye, smallmouth and stripe kept us out longer than what we expected but it was a great day to be on the water. The cats showed up a few times but it seemed the more the wind got up the more fish would move in along the ledge.

Congrats on the good day on the water.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Thx guys, was just hoping to put him on some keeper Crappie but as the morning went on it just got better. A real mix bag of fish came off this ledge just before the really deep water. After putting out a waypoint on each fish we saw that they were all coming from a 70-80 ft stretch. From then on we just kept running that area. As the wind kept up and the sun got higher the more fish and bait we saw with each pass in that location. One of the best days this year by far.
