There is a Chattanooga Crappie Club that is just starting up. Perhaps this club would be of interest to you. They are on Facebook.
I do not fish tx's but fishing with a good group of Crappie fishermen sounds like it would be fun.
Hello guys my name is Matt Xenos I am going to be forming a crappie club for east TN. This is only an inquiry to see what kind of participation to expect at this point. I think it's time we catch up with the rest of the state. Would anyone be interested in being a part of a good group of fellow crappie fisherman? Also we will be holding local tournaments throughout the year. If you are interested please comment here or pm me. Thanks

Life is good. Fishing is better.
Crappieready, did you get a chance to hit that spot? I have not been and was wondering if they were in there
I'm interested in the club. I would prefer it to visit more than just one lake. Keep us posted.
As long as it's a club where we get together to teach ,learn from each other I am all for it. If it's just an excuse to hold local tournaments then no.

My goal is to have a club that will not only fish tournaments, but also to fellowship with other crappie fishermen in your area and also out of your area. The most important thing a club can do is to help grow the sport of crappie fishing. So to answer your question no I do not believe it would just be an excuse to hold tournaments.
