The bite was real slow at big sandy yesterday. Brought home 22 keepers. Nice day though. I tried to add pics from my phone but that didn't work.

Fishing right above the bottom in 13 fow in elkhorn. I tried about every depth and went to other areas but wound up back at elkhorn taking what I could get. I was using minners.

In the afternoon, we found them very shallow. I was fishing in 3-4 FOW around stake beds and had my minnow about 1-1.5 feet under the wobble bobber. Caught some nice 12 inch fat girls that way. I talked to another guy at the resort and his father and him caught about 30 nice ones and said they were all in water too shallow for the trolling motor and his Bass tracker, nearly on the bank. I wish I would have tried the very shallow areas, but thought id be wasting my time.

When were you up there? My old home place is at west sandy and my dad has had limited success shallow. He is catching fish in deeper water suspended but I think I'm headed up this weekend if nite is still shallow.

Just left there today. The afternoon on Wednesday the water temps got to 54 degrees. Tuesday night temps got down into the 20's so it took until the afternoon before we found the bite
