If your in Memphis come straight up hwy 51 bypass to Dyersburg, Tn. then take a right on hwy 78 to Tiptonville, Tn. and your at the lake. You see the road signs to the lake.

Yep, if you are going to travel that far might as well go south.

Not sure why you keep saying you are to far from arkabutla. You can be there in 30 minutes from Memphis and you stand a much better chance at a trophy fish.
