    Default Big Sandy 02/09/2013

Fished Big Sandy Saturday 02/09/2013 water temp at 7:00am was 42deg and at 2:00pm it was 47.3deg. Started fishing a secondary channel in 9'-10' and finished in 11'-12' with the jigs one foot off the bottom. Best baits were the 1.75'' KLK Pin Minnow Black/Pink with black heads and Orange/Chart with specs with gray heads. You can find the Minnow on Facebook Allen Kentuckylakekid Hackert (KLK). I boated around 50-60 fish only keeping 18, big fish was 1.5 and out of the 18 only 5 were males. I have posted some pictures and I hope the picture doesn't mean an early spawn.

doesn't mean an early spawn, crappie start producing eggs in the fall, got a ways to go.
