    Thinking bout driving down from cape girardeau n was wondering if anybody is having any luck
    Any suggestions on where to start
    Should we spider rig with minnows or try to jig stumps

    Any info would greatly appreciated

    With duck season going it is probably best to skip the Foot for a little while.

    There are plenty of places to fish away from the duck hunters. But with the recent rain, about half the stumps are just under the surface and very hard to see. But I have seen both trollers and jiggers out there.

    I'm going. Going to try and jig but have my spider rig ready.
    Did score some barge chain for anchors so I won't be blowing around as much.

    Been tough on the foot, I'd go to wap, they're catching some good fish right now.

    That is the million dollar question. I am going to start in the stump fields in 14ft and then move deeper if my lines stay slack.
    The hunters will let you know if your to close

    Yes they will!!! Back a few years ago while fishing with my dad we got a little to close to green island point and they peppered the water out from us.
