    That's a neat pic! Just think, the lake was already 100 years old in that pic. Wonder if the kid in the background is Slab?

    Awesome pic, wish I could've seen the lake back then, that was right after the night riders took the lake back for general public, it was nearly all private at one time and almost filled in for agriculture another time, sure glad it made it!

    Night riders of Reelfoot lake
    Awesome book, my favorite Reelfoot book though (and there are plenty) is Reelfoot Lake Treasures by lexie Leanord, a 3rd or 4tg generation commercial fisherman and guide, there is no way a fisherman would not enjoy it!

    There were only 4 kinds of hand tied jigs from what i understand,back in the day? Cunning ham/??? For me it something that's intersting! Bet it was a lil. catalpa,ya think?
