Thread: Need help with Kentucky Lake / Tennessee River

Fished with david the guide out of birdsong marina. He put us on the fish when we thought it was impossible. I learned something very valuable this past couple of days. If you don't have good electronics, and know how to use them, you should stay at home and save your time/money.. I was under the impression that I could find structure with my cheap Depthfinder, mark it, and fish it. I was right to some degree, but if I was off by a couple of feet when I tossed my marker......no fish caught. David put us on several matts and right on the structure when we were there. In one morning we had 14 slabs.

Matts = crappie condos, beds, nests, structure.......
Just depends on what part of tennessee you're from. Hahaha.
