    Default Watts Bar Lake

Looking for some information on Watts Bar Lake. Marinas, ramps, where to stay, and of course fishing. Anyone have any experiences that they care to share?

www.arrowheadresort.com, nicest place I have stayed at on Watts Bar. Spent two nights there this past weekend and don't have a complaint in the world.

Do a "advanced search" for Watts Bar .... and you can either leave the members name box blank .. or put my screen name in it - and search all forums. You'll get enough threads to keep you busy, for awhile :D

    Best fishing for Crappie - March/April/May -- Oct/Nov
Most productive methods - shooting docks ... casting jigs to submerged cover
    Marina's with lodging/restaurant ... Bayside, Arrowhead
Marina's with best launch ramp facilities - Arrowhead, Blue Springs (opposite sides of the lake)

Have fished out from Bayside, Blue Springs and Euchee, and a few places including our own on other side of lake, for better part of forty-five years, Euchee is completely remodeled and has first class restaurant, and two launching areas; have their phone number and I can send PM if you want. They have a grand re-opening in next week or so or just had it. They do have rooms (new facility) but do not know details.

Blue Springs...docked there last time about fifteen years ago when I received a very cold shoulder since I did not have a sailboat there; they are now a yacht club and want you to know it. Bayside is close to other two and fishing is great there but have not used their dock; you can fish in immediate vicinity and not have to go to main channel; likewise with Blue Springs.

Interesting but just about a mile south of Euchee's is a restaurant named Twisters! Obviously a coincidence.
