    coming to reelfoot next thursday any help on what the crappie are biting on or where to look for them . thanks for any helpful advice

    I just got back from there yesterday and the bite was really slow. There for four days and only caught 4 keepers. Ran into a hot spell after a cold front and that spelled disaster for fishing. Hope you have better luck. All four were caught in Lower Basin. Several boats were spider rigging and they didn't do any better than me. One group I talked to did boat 12 for the day.... Good luck!!

    I think a lot of us are beginning to realize that using a PM is a good way to help our fellow contributors without informing the whole world.

    Example - If you tell a buddy everything you know about how to catch some fish on your home lake and he never returns the favor - how long are you gonna keep pumping him full of info? Not saying we shouldn't share info, but there's no requirement to put it on the open board for all to see.

    I went to the foot yesterday. I caught about 35 I think and kept 25. I did not have any real big fish, a few over a pound. But I did have a good mess of eating fish.
