My client Mr. James Torrance from Medina Tennessee had a great time catching 25 nice crappie and 2 catfish plus a stripper (also caught a few drums)

He did miss a few 4 to 1 missing but thats just part of crappie fishing on the "Foot" in June with jigs and minnows. Thumbs Up

By the way to all you "youngguns" we fished around the old "Campbell's Point Area" - it pay off with the size of fish today.

Just got 3 things to say:

    A. I'm stuck at home this weekend
    B. Looks like y'all had fun
    C. Your lucky my legs look shorter separately than yours look where they meet. Damnit.

The least you can do after those pics is tell us about colors, forecasts, and how we might, maybe get so lucky in the weeks to come. I mean, there's proud, and then there's cruel.

Well guys one day on the "Foot" catching some nice July crappie 07-08- 2011.Hands Clapping

Water temp about 80 to 83 this morning - wind very light to 5 miles per hour
Fish were hitting light again but bitting good overall
Fished 6' to 10' feet deep in water that was about 15 foot deep

In the Fence Row area of Lower Blue Basin out from the Reelfoot Lake Spillway Dam.

Used jigs and minnows with 12' poles - works well - 6lb line 1/4 oz and 1/8 oz jigs some poles just had minnows on them

If you notice some of the males were still black looking - caught them on two big stumps with a log were the females had justed spawned - I found it very interesting that we are having a few females just now spawning in deep water - but this has happen before on the "FOOT"

I will be heading down to Reelfoot in a couple of weeks with my two young sons. I hope I can get them on some fish. We are staying at Eagle Nest Resort. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
