Thread: Crappiemasters at Reelfoot Lake

I was in Memphis today but on the way home I heard on eagle 97.3 (Dyersburg) they talked to the winners which had just over 8lbs, I did not catch the name but he was from Finley, Tn. and his partner was from Samberg, Tn. I also got a call from my dad who said that a boat sank down there and a man and woman had to be rescued, they were cold and very wet but ok. They are very lucky and all of those who fished it are too. I'm glad everybody got out ok!!Thumbs Up

NICE SLAB in the pic...I noticed the car in the backgound,,My Dad worked almost 30 years for Pepsi as a serviceman in Ky...small world...Good Fishin'...

LOL!! I have 21 years in there which one did he work for in KY?

He worked in the Hazard Office...I think it's based out of Pikeville now...

Hughes/Hughes won it...My buddy Jim Dant got second..Capps/Coleman 4th I think..Littve over 8 won it..Dant had 7.51..He said wind was really bad..Spider riggers had trouble, he signle poled to 2nd to feel the bite..

It was a rough day but they did manage to catch a few, I could not have imagine being in a boat out there. But I guess that is why they are the Crappiemasters!!

Ok well it is a small world!! There are not many small bottlers left, most of it now is all owned by corp. Pepsi now. We are still an Independent Bottler of Pepsi and Dr. Pepper.Thumbs Up

I did not fish the Tourney but I heard about the boat sinking. I heard it was a fiberglass Nitro. Supposedly it sank to the bottom.
