you know that reminds me as a kid fishing in a pond by my house in the 60's and a jet broke the sound berrier and every fish in that pond surfaced. it was a sight to see an we went on to catch fish every cast for next hour.
Sailfish and I were in a cove yesterday. The baitfish activity was pretty good but all of a sudden for as far as we could see. every baitfish jumped out of the water2-3 feet in unison. It was a sight to behold. Then about 2-3 Seconds later we heard a large blast from a near rock quarry that is operational. After discussing this we came to the conclusion that the fish felt the shock before we heard the blast. In giving this more thought I was wondering if anybody around Reelfoot has seen anything like this when there has been a earthquake there? How lucky we were to see such a sight.

That's a couple of really neat stories. I've never seen anything like that, but would love to!
I noticed one day I was fishing near a short railroad trestle at Bull Run Stm Pkt and every time a coal train went by in a few minutes later several species of fish turned on. White bass, rock bass, bluegill, yellow bass and channel cats, carp and buffalo..
it was something to see, very cool and wierd at the same time
I fish Reelfoot Lake all the time and have never noticed the fish do that (except for the jumping carp). But I have noticed that I have been fishing and have no bites for over an hour and then the next ten min catch them as fast as you can.
