    Default old hickory 1/30/11

went this morning from 6:30 till 12:30 caught 15 crappie with 6 being keepers also 2 bass and 1 gill all on minnows.caught 6 crappie early then they just stopped so i changed techniques and tipped a chart tube with a minnow under a float set at 7ft in 10ft of water and managed the other 9 this way.had 2 guys run up under me and fished within 20ft of my boat casting towards same cover and they didnt catch anything.serves them right as far as im concerned.i sat and watch them burn curly tails like they where rattle traps.i just shook my head and kept reelin in crappie.oh heres a pic of my 6
