I fished 7:30 - noon today. Had 26 keepers all caught on jigs in 22-26 fow. Service temp was 46

That is a great catch. I couldn't catch 1 keeper on Old Hickory much less 26. I have bass fished all my life but would really like to start crappie fishing. I can catch a few crappies on Kentucky Lake in the spring like everyone else but I haven't figured out how to catch them any other time. On Old Hickory, I can't catch them at all. I have only tried it 2-3 times. I also end up bass fishing. I assume you were fishing on the lower end where it is deeper? Any guidance for me on what to do on Old Hickory? Thanks and if you ever need someone to buy your gas and tag along, let me know. I live in White House.

My best advice would be to work creek channel edges with a Ky lake rig.
Using minnows or jigs. Look for channel bends, points, and ledges.

Awesome catch Kid! Blows my mind how many fish you pull out of that lake. No matter time of year.
