Yes I have fished it. Its a pretty good creek and there are other close by that are not to bad either.

Hey Lucy, whats the average size crappie pulled out of bird song?

I have fished Birdsong a time or two a year for the last 5 or 6 years. It gets hit pretty hard during March and April and then after that I dont see a lot of folks crappie fishing. The size has been decent the few times that I have caught them(more keepers than throwbacks). But I'm sure that varies from year to year. I actually know a fellow with a place there and he loads up and heads north to the Big Sandy/Paris Landing area for his serious crappie fishing. He says Birdsong isn't as good as it once was. That said, we are usually bass or catfishing if the crappie don't cooperate pretty quick so take all that for what its worth.
