    Default Night fishing?

Does anyone Night fish here in Tennessee for crappie or is it legal or not? I remember when I lived in Nebraska we used to fish all night for catfish, Walleye and even get into some crappie.... Whats the state laws for night fishing in Tennessee? Anyone?

Help yourself...it should be "on" soon. Rules are pretty much the same as daytime fishing. You need to have a visible 360 degree light on your boat, even when anchored or moored. Check the fishing regulations on the TWRA website for all the "rules". Enjoy and I hope you catch a bunch!!!

I know someone who fished Douglas a little while last night and caught 10 under the lights.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Hi Takeum. Night fishing is a blast, peacefull, quite and those daytime knuckleheads are usaly in bed. Ever now and then you will have a bass guy scream by and say a few chosen words because you parked your rig in the middle of the creek channel. I fish Douglas at night, just waiting on the night time temps to go up a little more. Cold bothers these old bones, not a young-whipper-snapper anymore. If I can help with info just holler

Its a lot of fun. When it gets just a little warmer at night be sure to take some good mosquito repellant.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

So how do y'all run underwater lights? Do you make your own or is there somewhere you buy them? Sounds like a real blast... I was thinking of looking at Harbor Freight to find some cheap version of lighting that runs off batteries... I guess the trick is finding one that is waterproof...
