Good Job! Do you have any info on where you took this class? Cost, schedule and all that good stuff I would also like to know. Might try and get my CC Permit. Thanks in advance.
The Rogersville Police Chief holds the classes about every month. Cost is $70.
I know there is a detective in Dandridge that holds the class too. He charges $60.
About any gun shop can give you the info for your area.
After you pass the class. You have to go to the DMV, show a birth certificate, your class paperwork and give them $115 for the permit. They will also get your fingerprints and do a background check.
Speck, what does Lisa carry? Im gonna try to get Karen to go with me to the firing ranch one day and get her used to shooting.
a 25 auto

I took the class about 10 years ago and my instructor told me to miss my last shot. He said you don't to score perfect in case you shoot at someone and miss and hit someone else. Said they may pull your records and use it against you.
I didn't know whether or not to believe him but I went ahead and shot outside the silhouette.
Its kind of odd to me, that some states require a class, and target shooting to get your permit. But, in other states like mine, you get checked pay a fee and your on your way. But what gets me, is that TN for example, honors my permit, even though the process is completely different. Not complaining at all, just seems odd.
I didn't know you could shoot crappie...man, I coulda had a V-8!
