    Default Underwater stump removal?

I have a small stump that might interfere with my boat lift (not installed yet). Any suggestions how to remove it? It is about 1 foot in diameter and about 1 and 1/2 foot tall, has real jagged edges and is in about 7 foot of water.

    Ain't I lucky.

Never tried that in water...will there be a drawdown that will expose it?

Any way to get a chain around it? How far from the shore is it? If you can get a chain around it, winch that puppy out. Otherwise, dynamite.

It is about 150 foot out from shore. I am reluctant to use dynamite.

We are near winter pool. Sonar shows water level at stump near 7 foot.

Dynamite would get the stump and probably a limit or two of fish...Sounds like you've got a unique problem on your hands if you are at winter pool, and that far from shore. Sorry, but I'm not sure what to suggest.
