when crappiefest was planned and the sc team was asked to participate we was asked to set up the clash and big fish event as we had experience in doing both in the past. the way explained below is how we do it and the way it will be done on lake russell. On behalf of the sc nightstalkers we hope everyone enjoys their time fishing the clash. I also would like to thank the ga team for inviting us down to fish and eat with them and the guys that have worked so hard to put crappiefest together for everyones enjoyement and benefit. shortly it will be over with except for the crow eating, which im sure will keep the boards lively for months to come. just everyone keep in mind its all been in fun and noone has meant any harm by all the jackjawing thats been going on back and forth by both teams. good luck to everyone and everyone have a safe trip to and from the clash. rango

Fishing starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 12:30 am with weigh in at 1:am. we will be signing folks up for the big fish pool at shelter #3. entry fee of $10.00 with one winner, the biggest fish, taking all. once back at the landing we will weigh and determing the winner of the big fish pool. we will stop signing up for the big fish pool at 5:30 and depart for the landing. this will give us an hour to get to where we gonna fish. once you sign up and your boat is checked you may head for your fishing area. no fishing till 6:30 tho.
In the event of a tie, the pool will be split between the winners. winning fish will be autopsied for foreign objects before winner is declared. entry into the big fish pool is optional, however if one person on a boat enters the pool, then everyone on the boat must do so.
there will be one person from the sc team and one from the ga team inspecting live wells, boats and coolers for any stray fish. any person caught with a crappie on their boat will be disqualified. since there is a morning tournament and night fishing going on friday night prior to the clash event everyone must make sure no fish remain in any boats prior to being inspected. WARNING: MAKE SURE ALL FISH ARE REMOVED FROM BOATS AND COOLERS BEFORE BOATS ARE INSPECTED.
immediately after big fish weighin everyone will take their fish back to their respective teams area and then each team will pool their biggest 20 fish to be weighed for the team they represent. we will have one person from the ga team and one from the sc team doing the weighin. the clash scales WILL NOT be available to the teams for culling their fish. it will be up to each team to decide which of their 20 fish they want to present.. the scales we have weigh up to 20 pounds. if a teams weigh goes over 20 pounds the catch will be devided and the two weights added for a total score. the scales are very accurate and legal for trade and weigh within .00's
in the event a situation arises needing attention beagler will appoint two judges from the ga side and i will appoint 2 judges from the sc side. the judges will settle any issues needing settled and their decision is binding to everyone.
the sign up will be at shelter #3 and the weigh in will be at the ruckersville ramp, facility #28 on the kingfisher lake map if you have one.
