this is the ramp at packs normally 6 feet deep

this water which is normally 6 to 7 feet is now aboutr 4 inches can walk out to flats and not be knee deep
That's pretty low swampy.
Think of all the motors with the foot sunk in the mud. There's not enough water for even the gators.

how long does it take by boat to go from clearwater cove to wateree creek and how can i distinguish wateree creek is there a store or bridge or something i can identify it by from the lake, or would it be best to put in at beaver creek
Hey guys,
I'm very broken hearted about the water being low and the swamp being dried up. I came down I-40 today just out of knoxville, TN. Lake Douglas
must of had 50-75 foot of beach because of the 12-18 foot lack of water.
i wish i could have snapped a picture while driving.
I figure we will be walking into the swamp this year for camping...

you can do that, i walked from the river to the cut to otter flats last friday afternoon everthing is high and dry if i could have gotten across there i might could have walked to your sight, save for the mud.

beaver creek would be a much shorter ride, wateree creek is the last creek on the left going towards the river,it has an island in the mouth of it,not any other markers that i can think of right now,i would suggest a lake map if ya dont have one,you will pass the state park and taylors creek before you get to it
