I went dove hunting in Pageland about 7 or 8 years ago. Before going out into the field, the owners said they had killed some rattle snakes a couple days before. I go into the field and sit down behind 2 big rolls of hay worrying about rattle snakes. I was excited about getting some birds 'cause I had never shot one. At the same time, I had rattle snakes in the back of mind. The birds started flying and I started shooting. Needless to say, I missed. I missed everyone of those darn birds I shot at. At the end of the day, I had a sore shoulder and no birds. I shot 92 shells. Nothing. You can stop laughing now To wrap it all up, it was my first dove hunt and my LAST!!! :p

Don't feel bad CrappieDoll. I used to average about a bird per box of shells.
