Thread: i need something

ok guys, this is the way i look at it. there must be something to that about turning the shoes up. i went out there yesterday and turned it like you all said to turn it. day before yesterday id told ot id go fishing with him last night. he called in the afternoon to verify we was going and i had a gut feeling and told him, ot, i think ill hang loose tonight and cancel. well we had a real frog strangling downpour around 10 pm. :D now instead of sittin out there on the lake in a mess like that i was home, snug as a bug in a rug. yep, my luck has turned around already......:D

That is a draught horse shoe and I have them too. If you give me a measurement from heel to toe (just stand the shoe up on the heels and measure from the base to the tip of the toe. Get a width measure at its widest point. I can slap one on the anvil & match it up real close just by that.
Anybody comes close enuf to the Beast to circle around it and check one shoe for a symetrical match against the other is close enuf to whap with the paddle I say.

The shoe should be heels up or the luck will spill out so the saying goes.
I like hangin mine just like you see em for 2 reasons:
1) They are real hard to hang at 180 degrees from the pictured position.
2) When used shoes get cleaned outta my truck and hung somewhere my wallet stinks to money.:D

ill get them measurements for you today and post em later on. i know the beast will be proud to be sporting a new shoe, compliments of the man.....:D thanks a heap.

heres the measurements horseshoer.
from a line across the heels to the toe it is 5 &3/4 inches
across the shoe just below the two screws is 4 &3/8 inches

when i get them shoes from the shoer and have em blessed by the root doctor down at chester and then have him shake his bag of bones over em, aint nothing gonna stop us after they have become a permanent fixture on the beast.....:D the world is lookin good again............
