I met up with Uncle Remus this morning at Allison, landing around 7:00. We launched the toon and started to hunt some crappie. Partly cloudy, light winds, water temperature was 74. We ended up with 3 crappie, one bass, and a Uncle Remus hooked a big cat. The hook straightened out before he got it to the toon. We pulled in our lines around noon. We marked a lot of fish on brush piles that would not bite. Maybe next time they will?

Way better than my day. The brush I been working has bout killed me. The Paintbrush is not my idea of fun. At least at my age it probably the last time I’ll have to paint my house. One more day should finish me up and I’ll get to beat the brush. If Remus couldn’t make em bite I’m glad I didn’t waste my time trying.
