Not too many posts here lately. Everybody stop fishing? Spawning season is supposed to be catchin' time! My trips have been lousy recently also.
Any reports or comments? Sound off SC !!!

Water temerature is 58 in main lake, but higher in the backs of coves. 2 weeks ago, crappie were in about 12 to 15 feet of water and catchable. I missed last week and this week, but plan on going back to stay several days starting saturday. Caught limits 2 days in a row, and a 16 incher then. Actually the water temperature is about where i left it 2 weeks ago. We have several days forecasted of 70's and one day in the 80's. So next week could be game on unless it has already started. I am clueless on the last 2 weeks but april is just around the corner. Check areas with your fish locater, and see if you see fish. A lot can change since i was there earlier.

ill try to cheer you up. I got an invite from Tackleboat to hit lake Norman Tuesday and I jmped right on it
we met at the ramp about 7:15 and hit the brush humps and open water singles . did some scouting and fishin and had
a great time (of course there was no story telling thats not allowed on TBs boat ) anyway we did have a great time
and almost caught our 2 limits of crappie. nothing better than a day fishin with a good friend- even if he don't allow fishin stories
    on his boat
Fish tremble at the sound of my name
