    Default Remembering SeaRay today

It would have been his 77th birthday. May he rest in peace…

Very nice gentleman and a fisherman who would fish anywhere. I enjoyed talking to him when he came to Rock Hill to fish our perch jerks. He always had something to add to our knowledge or make you laugh.

He lived near me on Murray. We chatted occasionally about fishing. His health wasnt great. I know he fished a few times with my friend Tim on Murray and Wateree as well. Nice fellow for sure.

Ray and I spent a day in my boat once. He was a top notch guy. I always envied his stories and pictures about his trips to Florida with his gang after the oscars. R.I.P. Ray.

I had the pleasure of having him on my toon quite a few times and a couple times in his boat
he was the kind of fellow you just can't forget I remember on a certain trip on Wyllie when he caught
the worlds biggest perch- his words- I had em right in my hands and he slipped out and back in the water..
that was the world record.. seems like yesterday.. RIP my friend --

R.I.P Ray sure miss our fishing trips. The last time I fished with him he said the doctor told him he was on borrowed time and shortly after that he went to heaven. Get right with the Lord because we never know when our last trip will be.

Me and Ray would banter back and forth with his South Carolina Gamecocks and my Texas A&M Aggies during the college football season. Won several bets with him - nice ties I received from him. His name is Ray Steel (sorry about the spelling on his last name). Remember the man on who he is/was by name. Really enjoyed talking with him on the phone.

Same for "G" which was a very good friend of mine - his name is David Shands. Enough said.
