Back out today, longline for crappies. Tried beaver dam & torrence creek. Kindy slow till I found one hot spot. Caught 10 nice crappies & 10 small crappies on jigs tipped with minnows. Water was stained & 50 degrees

Glad you found a few that would bite. I was out yesterday afternoon helping a buddy dial in his livescope. He’s a bass fisherman mostly. We saw several people trolling around Catawba creek and a familiar face(TB) Scoping. After getting him dialed in I had to try and catch a crappie. We eased around and picked off about 8 nice crappie. Some were suspended others were on structure.
