    Default Remus the Crappie Assassin

Heard Uncle Remus wuz on the pond again with his new Crappie Stix Rods. As an Assassin he declined to be photographed. Was a short trip but caught plenty and had a few in the bucket. Name: IMG_3419.jpg

You'll know where the Dawgg was don't you! I can't get off the porch due to commitments to my wife's Aunt Barbra and my neighbor's dog sitting. Glad you fellows had a great day out there. Someone needs to do a rain dance and get some water back in between the riverbanks. Hopefully it will be soon. You guys save me a crappie or two!

man!!! what a day - got to ramp little after 7 am said our howdies untied boat loaded our weapons and splashed about 7:30 --about a 5 minuet run to first brush - it really looked good- first cast nothing second cast a nice keeper and the war was on threw the first 10-12 back which all but a couple would have been keepers seeing all those nice filets going back thought hummm I could use a bag or 2 for freezer so we kept a limit than it was total throw back until 1:pm our quitting time and 97 showed up on counter. headed in and ran across an old friend and stopped to say howdy and by chance there was a pile in sight that triggered the thought we can't leave without that other 3 so out came the weapons again and TB made short work of getting the last 3 that totaled our 100 and was back at the ramp before 1:30 -- that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
thank you again Tackleboat for a great day on the water.

TB, did you get Uncle Remus trained as a net man this trip?
Sounds like you two had a great morning on the water. Thank you for sharing it with us.
