    Default Taking Uncle Remus fishing

Team, I have successfully talked Remus into joining me for a striper trip on Saturday. Hopefully the fish will cooperate and he’ll have a great time.
For those that have fished with him, what can I expect from this legendary catching machine?
Dawg, there’s room for you too if you’re up for it….

    Chris

Can’t advise from first hand experience, but I’ve heard he will drown a bunch of minners. I would definitely take more than usual. I would also sharpen my filet knife. Also make sure the net is in good shape. Hope y’all git em.

He told me he was slipping off with Billy to catch a few. That's okay by me! Thanks for the offer but I'll have to stay on the porch with this stiff neck. I hope you get into them good. Just make sure he gets me two even if he has to snorkel for them.

I have only fished with Uncle Remus in his toon.
He gave me a list of chores on my second trip with him.
    1) get his rods baited up and ready to drop in.
    2) Let him catch the first fish.
    3) Let him catch the biggest fish
    4) Let him catch the most fish
    5) Take his fish off the hook and. bait them back up.
All joking aside, he is a great guy to fish with.
I hope that you have a great time!

Craig, at least you don't have to clean the fish and the boat. Last time I fished on his toon he handed me the can of paste wax and said let him know when I was finished, and he'll it over. We all have our ways!

I hope were too tired from catching/cleaning fish to mess with a dirty boat!
No worries, I'll have the wax and the buffer ready just in case!

Trip time is getting closer and I’m getting excited. Can’t wait to see Uncle Remus with a Rockfish.

Yeah, a rock in one hand and a dead herring in the other! Seriously, I hope they get a bunch of stripers. Be careful on the drive down and back and safe boating rules followed. Good luck fellows!
