Took my buddy BJ crappie fishing this Sunday morning. I had a report that a spot I知 familiar with was on fire. When we arrived there were two boats already there so instead of single polling we got out the longline rigs and trolled. With the exception of yellow perch we caught every species the lake holds (that I知 aware of). The morning ended when the storms arrived around 11AM. Final results were 14 crappie, 4 cats, 9 white perch, 2 white bass, 5 hybrids, and 1 gar. The highlight of the morning was 4 of the 5 hybrids on at the same time on 4 lb test! (we landed them all)
Not far from there was what I imagine were their disgruntled parents as they took jigs and never slowed down.
