    Default MT SEAT

Had an empty seat so contacted MTHook. Woke him and his wife up early. I think maybe she was mad and made him go fishing. There was fish on the brush, some were willing and some wouldn’t. We casted a lot and worked hard. Only got one big enough to release. Had 24 keepers on the counter but got 34 out of the Livewell. Hummmm? How does that happen?? Be careful with Grady, I’m thinking he slipped a few in I didn’t see. Great Day on the water. Fished the lower end so didn’t see any muddy water so can’t report on water conditions on the north end. But was in Cramerton yesterday and the S. Fork was red and high. Name: IMG_2766.jpg

Well she wasn't mad, just glad to get rid of me for a few hours. I came back the the motorhome with a bucket of fish to clean, this is when I miss our old house, I had a work sink that was set high enough I could stand and work without bending over.
Managed to get them all cleaned and vacuumed packed, delivered some to an old guy here in the park, made him smile.
Doug, Thanks for the attitude adjustment, being on the water just makes me feel good.
Very impressed with live scope, once I learn to hit a target when I cast it might be on my wish list

Linda wasn't the only one that got an early call. I was just pouring the first cup of coffee when the phone rang.
Doug was looking for some onlookers to be there to see MT Hook casting to crappie hot spots. Couldn't go but was glad somebody called to check in! I know you two had a great day. Live scope is the thing now days. Grady will get one for the motor home so when he drives near water, he can search the lake for targets. Great report from both of you and pictures prove there still crappie on the lower end of Wylie. Good job teaching and catching.

Dawagg, I don't know if Live Scope is in my future, since I sold the business I don't have a place to hide new toys and all my purchases show up on her credit card.
Sure enjoyed the day, disappointed in my ability to hit the mark casting, Doug would pull up cast dead on the pile time after time. Makes me think he's done some practice.
I'd hate to be in a tournament with live scopes fishing. No way you could compete.
To be able to see fish on brush at 45-70 feet out amazing
