    Default Fried or Blackened?!?

I always thought the only way to cook crappie was to fry 'em but tonight I tried my hand at blackening them. I used Tony Chacheres original Creole seasoning and paprika cooked in butter. Man! Might not replace fried but blackening sure was delicious and I know it wont be my last time eating these.

Blackened is my fave but my wife can’t have the spicy foods so we compromise. Thanks for your post.

My wife will not eat anything spicier than mayo. I will be making cajun pasta tonight. I will have to make her something else. The shrimp will be blackened
