It seems some of the regulars stopped posting last fall. I know that they are fishing but not posting.
I really appreciate your posts and pictures.

Me and my Sweetie had to catch 100+ today to get our 40. The little fish were so aggressive it was hard to get a goodun. We were single poling. Saw 57 degree water and trees blooming. That says shallow but we’re still catching in 26-28 feet. Only had 2 over 13 inches. Name: IMG_2402.jpg

Thank you for the water temp. The details mean a lot.

Doug, it was tough for us yesterday we have nothing to post about. We did see 57 degrees also. We marked and saw lots of fish but no takers. Had problems from the start getting minnows. Only place open sold out over the weekend selling 40 dozen. That tells me somebody is fishing, and the bite must be on somewhere. Glad you and the lady got a mess of fish. I can't imagine catching 100 crappies! Saw Crappie Kidd out there single poling. Wind was tough too on the barge!

Saw 57 degree water and thinking wow we are way ahead on water temp. WRONG!! Last year 3/3 I saw 56. The trees and Daffodils are lying to us.

Sorry for not posting, but I've not had much time to fish (hopefully that will get better soon). I did walk down to the dock and fish for about 10 minutes on Saturday night 2 weeks ago. It was about 9PM and I only connected with two. Since it wasn't very fruitful I didn't stay and didn't post.

    More to come soon (hopefully)

Does happen every few years. I've seen Feb. be nice like this and then had ice freeze in the guides of my rod on opening day of trout season (first Sat. of April in NC)
