Fished this evening and they were a little slow for me. Only caught 10 crappie and 1 striper and some perch. Pc was like fishing greenwood, if you weren’t paying attention you would troll right into someone.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
EVERYBODY fishes PC. Unless I go down during the week I try to stay away from there. There's lots of places to catch crappie that isnt so popular. You just have to look around. Congrats on the catch.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.tackleboat LIKED above post
I went the other way on Clarks Hill yesterday. I had never fished the far upper end of Georgia Little River and felt like doing some exploring. I never could get on anything good. The fish were not grouped up at all, just lots of spread out singles and I absolutely couldn't get them to eat long lining. It made me start to question if what I was seeing was crappie but that question was quickly answered. I decided to check a different area and there was a boat in there absolutely slamming the crappie single pole live scoping them. I have never really given that style fishing a chance but I will now. I had no idea it could be that productive. The fish were mostly 7 to 10 feet down. I finally got tired of not catching and pulled in my long lines and pulled out my single pole jig rod. In that boat, I have my Active Target on a pole mount. He mentioned he started with a pole mount but found he liked it a lot better on the trolling motor. I could immediately see why. It was extremely hard with the pole to coordinate the trolling motor, keeping the pole on the fish and work the jig. At first the fish were rejecting my jig, literally running away from it. I changed to a darker color and it was game on until the wind picked up. My bigger boat has the Active Target on the trolling motor, I will be using that for my next trip.
