    Default Crescent Lake, Fl

Dead Lake and canal was where we went today for the first time since living in FL. A nice little 35 minute ride over to the Bull Creek Boat Ramp on Dead Lake. Lots of boats already out and trolling by the time we got there. Launched the boat and off we went looking for some Specks.(Crappie) Found these 2 pretty quick.
Then it was an hour for the next bite.
Then we over heard 2 boats talking and my heart dropped. They was tearing it up yesterday!!! I hate hearing that phrase...LoL
We fished from about 7:45 am to 3 pm.
We caught 10 Specks in all. 5 were under 5".
Momma managed to out fish me again today.
Her PB now is 1.32lbs., along with a nice 1.18lber (not photoed) and a thick .75lb.
I caught 1 keeper of about a half pound.
She also caught her signature slimmer channel cat.
We had a good day. A couple guys we talked to didn't catch 1 fish all day and another only got 3. So bringing home 5 plus a slimmer we was blessed I'd say.

Seems the women always catch more fish, maybe because we spend our time baiting and dehooking. Untangling etc.
Good report glad you gotbour for a few hours

The phase that all fishermen hate to hear (They was tearing it up yesterday)! A slow bite is better than setting at home any day, thanks for the report and better days are ahead.

Great job. Yep, the fishing always was better when you weren't there. Always seems that way. It's kinda like "free beer tomorrow".
