    Default Clark Hill Lake Level

Look at how much the lake rose since Jan 22. Almost 3 feet. UNREAL!

More rain in the forecast too! The fish are biting. The rain needs to go away, the wind needs to lay a little, and we need a few more days of warm weather. I know, like every year, once you start catching some then they get knocked back by the elements. Never fails. Happens every year!

Wednesday rain really messed up my bite at Wylie. Good day on Tuesday with fished schooled up. Wednesday rain got it muddy and scattered the fish. Temperature of the water dropped 3-5 degrees. Fished today and caught 20-25 didn’t keep good count and only had 7 keepers.

I rode down to the lake today and checked a few places. Lots of mud in most places. Found a few places you could longline but not sure the fish are there. Will have to go to see I guess. Busy tomorrow. Might try Sunday. Dunno yet.

Any chance that you saw pistol creek? I figure it’s muddy if not I’ll be there, otherwise I’m going to Russell tomorrow.

I didnt check that area TJ. But I'd bet theres alot of trash on the water there. Newford might be more fishable if youre longlining.
